Steelcraft's frames are available for 1 3/8" (35 mm) and 1 3/4" (45 mm) doors. The frames can be KD (knocked down) for field assembly or set-up and arc welded (SUA). The frames can be used in masonry, wood stud or steel stud walls. Frames are available with fire ratings ranging from 20 minutes to 3 hours. Frames are thoroughly washed, phosphatized and prime painted. The frames available are:

Frame sections are available to produce exterior walls, store fronts, entrances, end walls, interior partitions, etc. The sections are basic steel frame components designed to provide the strength to carry the wind or dead load. The components are cut to size, notched or mitered and welded together into an assembly. The sections are thoroughly cleaned, phosphatized and prime painted.

FlushFrames

Flush (F, FE, FN and FS Series) frames are designed to be installed as part of the wall framing sequence for exterior and interior walls.

Drywall Frames

Drywall (DW and K Series) frames are designed to be installed in rough opening after the wall is up. They can be installed in minutes and can be relocated without damage to the frame.
